Phoenix Beer - famous local Mauritian beer - organised a contest for local artists in 2013. At the end of it, 10 people were selected to participate in a compilation. Being among the 10 persons, I wanted to compose a song that would reflect the music style that I love but mixed with our cultural Mauritian Sega rhythm. I am greatly influenced by jazz and bossa nova and I ended up composing a romantic bossa nova Sega ballad! OMG! What a musical mix!
The lyrics were written by my much-loved sister, Ornella and it talks about love, dreams and hope. ‘Rev ensanter’ means enchanted dream.
