Konshens :60 With. 2017 Dancehall reggae singer Konshens was initially big in Japan. A decade ago he and his brother were a duo called Shojah, and their “Pon Di Corner” topped the charts there. The Jamaican native began performing solo soon after, and tracks such as “Winner” and “Imposter” helped further his name. His ‘Mental Maintenance’ album hit in 2012 and boasted features by Bounty Hunter and Sizzla. His “Bruk Off Yah Back” and “Out Yasso Dread” videos are part of his Vevo library, and he's featured in Eva Simons’ “Policeman.” Konshens stopped by Vevo to submit to our rapid-fire interview, ‘:60 with.’ As the clock ticked, he told us about a food item he loves, the country with the wildest fans, and his favorite tattoo.
